I made this guitar strap for my husband. I worked on it for over a year. I was never so happy to have a project done.

Mother and Child

I painted this in college. My version of Mother and Child. It is hard to see, but their ship awaits their return is in the background

Ancient Goddess Drawings

I have a deep connection to the past, hence my art history/anthropology degree. From this association I did a collection of the chalk drawings. The images came from ancient goddess figures. These drawings are the only two I have left; I gave the others away as Yule gifts.

This is a painting I did for my son. He has many monkeys but Nappers is his favorite, so I had to paint him.

I am always looking for ways to decorate my home in an affordable manner. I saw a cabinet at World Market that I wanted, it was $200 and way out of my price range. I got this ugly cabinet at a second hand store and painted it myself. It cost about $15.

Scarab Wings

Scarabs were an important symbol to the Egyptians. The beetle’s image is found in many ancient artifacts. By its very nature the scarab beetle represents life, death and rebirth; basic principles of Egyptian beliefs. Necklace approx. 15”, pendent approx. 3” long x 6” wide. Clay and glass.
